VISMINWOOD - Habang nag-aabang ang mga sutil at malilibog na fans ni Rod Maceda sa kanyang bold movie na "Na Unhan", naging busy rin ito sa pag vlog ng kanyang pagiging vegan maliban pa sa paggawa ng English tutorial videos para sa mga Pilipino.

Kamakailan lamang ay nakikita na sa kanyang official fans club page na isa na siyang vegan. Ibig sabihin ay hindi na siya kumakain o kakain ng anumang uri ng hayop at suportado na niya ang PETA para sa animal rights. At isa na rin siya sa mga ambassadors ng isang vegan society. At may naka schedule na rin siya na ishu shoot na health product at SPA endorsement sa 2021.

"When you eat clean, you treat yourself with kindness. Simula noong naging vegan ako, nagbago ang buhay ko at sumarap ang pakiramdam ng katawan ko. Mas naging malakas ako at ramdam ko na nagri rejuvenate ang katawan ko. Pati buhok ko, kumakapal ulit. Magaan din sa pakiramdam lalo na sa bituka. Nakikita ko ang sarili ko na isang vegan for the rest of my life."

Nag vegan ba siya para mas maging macho pa ang katawan niya sa mga upcoming movies niya after Na Unhan?

"Hindi. Pero magiging parte na rin yun. Kasi gaganda yung katawan mo kapag puro gulay at prutas ang kinakain mo. Pero ang rason talaga ay gusto ko maging healthy. Matagal ko na gustong maging vegan. Pero sabi nga nila, kapag nag match na yung vibration mo sa universe, everything will fall into place. And it has manifested in my life experiece. I'm loving it."

So ibig sabihin no more meat na talaga?

"No more meat. Anything na animal product or byproduct like eggs, animal milk, basta yung nanggaling sa hayop... lahat lahat yun. Search n'yo nalang kung ano ang mga kinakain ng mga vegan. Baka maging vegan din kayo."

Hindi ba niya hinahanap hanap yung lasa ng karne?

"Hindi naman. Siguro yung mga leading ladies nalang na ka romansa ko sa movies ko ang substitute ng karne. Hehehe. Joke."
